Wine Flavor Profile

Pescadero Rock Chardonnay is a medium- to full-bodied white wine with bright tropical fruit, lemon and orange aromas, supported by subtle stone fruit and vanilla notes. Juicy and vibrant, the palate has flavors of pineapple and white peach plus crisp minerality and a lingering, full finish.

Pescadero Rock Chardonnay pays tribute to its beautiful origins along California’s Pacific Coast. It comes from Mendocino County, which lies about two hours north of the prestigious Napa Valley and is “just the place for those who like to venture off the path” (Wine Spectator).

The region has warm, sunny days that ripen grapes to perfection, along with cooling ocean breezes to look in freshness. As a result, the Chardonnay grapes have produced an elegant, balanced white that will impress any white wine fan and pair well with anything from sushi to grilled chicken.

Look forward to bright tropical fruit and citrus aromas, with hints of stone fruit and vanilla. The palate is luscious, yet vibrant, with pineapple and white peach flavors, balanced by a crisp minerality.

This Chardonnay offers incredible value for the quality (especially when compared to the pricey bottles from nearby Napa) and even won a silver medal at the Sunset International Wine Competition.

On the Wide World of Sports television broadcast, American sportscasters Don Dunphy and Howard Cosell report that the president of the island Republic of San Marcos has been assassinated and replaced by a dictator, General Emilio M. Vargas. Meanwhile in New York, clumsy Fielding Mellish works as a product researcher at General Equipment, where he tests electrically warmed toilet seats, coffins with piped-in music and the new "Execusizer," a gym built into the desks of busy corporate heads. Unhappy with his job, Fielding blames his lack of success on the fact that he never finished college.
